Are you interested in producing films and television shows but don’t know where to go to get the best education? The Youth Film Academy (YFA) specializes in teaching teens and young adults the techniques, nuances, skills and the technology needed to pursue a career in visual entertainment.

The Youth Film Academy is unlike other schools in that their curriculum is designed by real Hollywood industry professionals who know the entertainment business inside and out. Students of the YFA will become immersed in multi-media entertainment; submit their work to film festivals and TV stations; and demonstrate their skills to some of the industry’s most respected professionals.

Individuals who have decades of experience in the entertainment industry came together because they realized that there was a need for a school that was dedicated to teaching the behind the scenes aspect of film and television.

The founding members of the YFA are all experienced professionals who have lent their skills to directing, financing and casting some of today’s most popular shows. Their list of projects includes: Hannah Montana, High School Musical, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and That’s So Raven. In addition, some of the founding members also worked on the hit films Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Bourne Identity, Legally Blonde and American Pie.

What makes the Youth Film Academy so unique is the different packages offered to students.

The Visionary Package, for example, allows students to get hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment and exposes them to all aspects of visual entertainment. This package focuses on directing films and TV shows, and students will learn from industry professionals as well as guest speakers. As an added bonus, students will be given a red carpet premiere of their work where their projects will be screened for family and friends.

Other packages are available as well that focus on marketing your work or on getting to know Hollywood celebrities and their secrets to success.

If you’ve ever thought about making a career in the film or television arena, the Youth Film Academy is a great stepping stone that could catapult you to a successful career in Hollywood.
